The Case for Considering Overnight Camping

Greater Opportunities for Growth & Independence
  • Overnight Camp places children in a position of independence, and gives them the choice of how they will represent themselves to new people. Being placed in this position will allow them to take ownership of the values you have endeavoured to cultivate in a supportive environment grounded in strong morals, a vision to celebrate difference, and acceptance of everyone.
  • Sleeping away from home is a big step! We will do our very best to ensure that it is a positive one.

Campers Experience Additional Programming
  • Supper, evening programming, vespers, all camp games, talent show, campfire, bedtime routines, morning optionals, flag, breakfast... what more can we say!

Menesetung is a safe, and healthy place - All staff take their responsibilities very seriously.
  • All staff are required to have current First Aid & CPR-C certifications, and undergo a vulnerable sector police screening.
  • Specialist programming staff are required to have appropriate certifications, such as: NLS (National Lifeguiard Service - Pool), ACCT (Association for Challenge Course Technology - Climbing Wall - Low-Ropes), Safe Food Handling (Cook & Kitchen Staff) etc.
  • All staff undergo a full 11 days of intensive training to prepare them to care for and engage your kids!

Take a Week Off!

We have everything under control, your child is having a fabulous time, enjoy your week! You've earned it!
