Junior Specialty

Junior Specialty Camp allows campers to choose one of three specialty areas, Arts, Dynamic Pursuit Crazy Plates, which they will spend three hours at each morning.  The afternoons will be spent rotating to other favourite areas of camp. Arts will include arts, crafts, music, dance and drama.  Dynamic Pursuit will include sports, swimming, and archery.  Crazy Plates will include cooking, baking and kitchen safety.  New off site options include:  Golf at Sunset Golf Course and Bowling at Little Bowl in Goderich.  The Golf option includes three hours at Sunset with club rental, instruction and time each day spent on the Baby Boomer Golf Academy Par 3 course.  The Bowling option includes three hours at Little Bowl in Goderich with instruction and bowling. .

A traditional week at camp includes arts and crafts, music and drama, swimming, outdoor living skills, archery, initiatives, Discovery (Christian education), campfires, talent show, evening programs, and more!  Registration is between 3-4 pm on Sunday and pick up time is at 7 pm on Friday.  Family members are invited to join us at 6:45 pm for closing “campfire.”

Day Camp is a great way for children to spend their day – and still return to the comforts of home at night.  We will keep them busy all day long!  An optional overnight is offered on Thursday night for an additional fee.  Drop off is at 9 am each morning and pick up is at 4 pm.  On Thursday night pick up time is at 8 pm for those campers not sleeping over.

The Leaders In Training (L.I.T.) Program is for our oldest campers looking for a new challenge. L.I.T.s spend the first week participating in leadership training sessions emphasizing trust, communication, team building, problem solving, inclusion and more. They will spend the second week putting all of their new skills into practice while living and working with a counsellor and cabin of campers. An application form will be mailed to you after your registration is received. $210
